erockster is a new Internet radio venture from the folks at Clearchannel. You know, the folks who own over half the traditional radio stations in the country. As I type I’m patiently waiting for thier “Tune in, Turn on Rock out” player to load. Not a good start. OK, after 4 minutes I give up [...] Pluggedin.com beta is a Free streaming music video site that offers thousands of streaming videos. It requires a plugin to view which claims an HD experience. The interface is easy to use and clean and the selection is excellent. Unfortunately as beta I searched for quite a while to find a program that would rip streaming radio to MP3 files. There are several on the market. I used Total Recorder for several years and it worked very well. It gave me individual songs ripped to MP3’s with excellent sound quality. The only problem was in most cases [...] The Roku SoundBridgeRadio WiFi Music system and Internet Radio comes from a deep lineage. Roku was one of the pioneers of Internet Radio devices and makes some of the best devices available today. Priced at only $299 this radio lets you listen to Internet Radio from anywhere in your house in crisp [...] The Squeezebox Duet from SLIM Devices (from the folks at Logitech, the PC Speaker Company) is a streaming Internet Radio or MP3 device that lets you control the music on your PC and Rhapsody and Slacker Radio with little or no effort. It uses 802.11g WiFi . Accutunes.com claims to be Internet Radio that simply works. Well I hope so. They do make it easy. you pick a genre, then a channel which is subtle variations of the genre you choose and then it starts playing the station based upon your choices. New York Rockers celebrate. The famous WNEW FM, the flagship Rock station of the 60’s though the mid 90’s is back. Well kind of. It’s only available online and on HD Radio. Still very cool! They have the typical easy to use Flash type interface that allows you to type in an artists name and instantly start listening to that artist.
