You can also use http://www.TalkStreamLive.mobi to get all the Talk Radio shows in your car. You will need a Windows Mobile Smartphone and data plan or wi-fi hot spot to listen. The talk shows are WMA and you might need TCPMP for the broadband music streams.

Thanks for the kind words on TUN3R.

You certainly get what we’re trying to do. Namely, get back to making a live DJ based radio tuner fun again.

As for DJ radio versus Customer Radio… This is a subject I could talk about for hours (see my blog post where I argue in favour of DJ radio at: http://tun3r.blogspot.com/2008/03/theory-of-mind-shared-experience.html)

For me it all comes down to whether you believe DJing is an optimization problem, or a creative endeavor. For many stations it would seem to be a bit of both, but if you’ve listened to stations like Radio Paradise (as but one example), I am convinced that DJing is going through a creative renaissance. That said, techno DJs like Fatboy Slim have known this for years.

I have both the iPhone and iTouch units and I have the FLYTUNE app which I downloaded for their website. It works good. I get it on Wi Fi and EDGE.
