erockster from Clear Channel

erockster is a new Internet radio venture from the folks at Clearchannel. You know, the folks who own over half the traditional radio stations in the country. As I type I’m patiently waiting for thier “Tune in, Turn on Rock out” player to load. Not a good start. OK, after 4 minutes I give up on that. It has the basic features, music, videos, pictures, community, keyword search. It is an on screen ad based network. I can only assume they have in between song commercials also but I wouldn’t know since it won’t work. erockster also has an on-demand section and a top 20 listing. Again, not currently working. With a library of only about 5,000 songs to start is rather meager, but this is the biggest radio conglomerate on the planet so I don’t expect it to stay that way.
