Right now you can get the Slacker G2 25 station version for only $129 with a free dock. This is an exceptional value. I’ve always loved the slacker concept and still do. Why is this device so cool and why wouldn’t I just use my iPod or iPhone instead.
With an iPod you need to take the time to upload the music to your device, not to mention, uh, but the music. With the Slacker you simply program your stations and it takes care of the rest as long as you are in wifi range once a week or so. It will automatically upload new music to your device on a regular basis based upon you likes and dislikes. Unlike Pandora on an iPhone the Slacker G2 works anywhere without a wifi or Internet connection.
