FlyTunes names its iPod classic product FlyTunes Desktop. Yeah, not very original but likely a good fit. It is a downloadable application that will let users of iPod’s download FlyTunes 400 + stations to the iPod. This will be very cool for all of you tired of listening to the same old songs on your [...] Flytunes, quickly becoming my favorite thing on my iPod touch has just released a new interface and now also offers videos. This just keeps getting cooler. It’s also encroaching on Slacker. Here are some screen shots showing the new interface on FlyTunes. Click to follow the post to the FlyTunes screen shots. I just read a post on Chicago Tribune.com that Flytunes will cache up to 40 minutes of audio. This means you can listen to your favorite Flytunes station, they are up to over 60 now, and then take it on the road with you without your WiFi connection for your iPod touch. We also know that with the update coming in June users of the iPhone and iPod touch will be able to get downloadable applications on their phone and iPod. Flytunes adds Ad's to Interface
Flytunes has finally added ad’s to their iPhone/iPod touch interface. They are not obtrusive and are actually kind of hard to read on these little screens. Still surprising little advertising on the stations themselves. What do you think of the Flytunes interface?
